Kent Giants

Since 2002 Kent has seen the community of giants grow from just being Torrent of Littleboune, who was awakened in 2002, to the most recent , Joss of Margate in 2006, Captian Sam of Whitstable.

Each giant in Kent is inspired by local town associations or locations.

- Torrent of Littlebourne was influenced by the river Nailbourne which runs through the village.

- Harry of Hawkinge took his from the historic association with flying.

- John Drury of Sandwich was a famous mayor there who was kidnapped and murdered.

- Lily of Herne Bay was influenced by the sea.

- Flora of Singleton by the necklace of woodland that surronds Singleton.

- Joss of Margate was a famous smuggler.

- Captain Sam of Whitstable a great fisherman
